This program is an expanded day-long presentation that satisfies the needs of Teacher's Continuing Education. It is for mature professionals that have an interest in improving their own working knowledge of the Antarctic Area. The Seminar combines the information of the Student Assembly Program with additional greatly expanded information including several Video presentations offered by the National Science Foundation.

In addition, Jim's most recent publication, Penguins of the World, will be offered at no charge for duplication for use as a handout to all attendees. This book documents, into a single source, specific information about the 17 species of Penguins, and lists valuable references and sources in the video or printed medium that can be useful for school class-room usage. A large Poster -- Great for the Classroom -- of Emperor Penguins in Antarctica is also included.

Teachers will gain more information during this fun day about Penguins and the Antarctic than they have ever had before.
